Age Of Empires merupakan salah satu game legendaris yang masih bertahan hingga sekarang. Sebuah game strategi yang meng adaptasi ikon-ikon sejarah kerajaan-kerajaan di seluruh dunia. Ikon tersebut seperti kerajaan Aztec, Maya, Inca, hingga kerajaan Malay yang menurut kami merupakan representasi dari majapahit, meskipun namanya tidak tepat. Age of Empires 2 ini menarik sejak awal kemunculannya, karena mengangkat ikon-ikon sejarah berbagai kerajaan di dunia, beserta kisah-kisah sejarahnya. Seperti bangsa Viking yang unggul di armada perang laut, sehingga salah satu unitnya ada kapal perang yang tak dimiliki oleh kerajaan lain. Ada lagi kerajaan Teutons yang memiliki infantry unik berzirah besi, yang memang dalam sejarahnya merupakan satu-satunya atau paling tidak infantry pertama di dunia yang menggunakan zirah besi seluruh badan, mulai kepala hingga telapak kaki.

Mode multiplayer

Multiplayer bisa dimainkan melawan AI / bot atau melawan pemain lainnya, dan bisa diatur berapa lawannya (maksimal 8 pemain). Khusus untuk bermain dengan pemain lain, ada 2 pilihan, bisa antar PC dalam 1 area menggunakan jaringan LAN, baik kabel maupun Hotspot. Melalui Jaringan Internet, bisa menggunakan voobly atau langsung pakai steam.
